These are both troubling and exciting times we live in. Troubling because we are facing the worst economic crisis in decades, but exciting to see so much grassroots involvement and positive outlook to 2010 where we can fight to bring new thinking to all levels of government, where the obvious solution is a fundamental return to the grassroots.

We’re off to a great start here in Rancho Santa Margarita, and today I am very pleased to announce that our former Chairman of the State Board of Equalization, and current candidate for Orange County Assessor Claude Parrish, has endorsed my campaign for RSM City Council. Claude is a friend of the taxpayers and I welcome his endorsement along with the endorsements of Irvine Councilwoman and former Mayor Christina Shea, Irvine Councilman Steven Choi, and Mayor Pro-Tem of Costa Mesa Wendy Leece among others.

I am humbled by the generous support I have received so early on in this race from so many kind people.
