BIOGRAPHY
A long time advocate for limited government and fiscal responsibility, Jesse Petrilla was elected to the City Council of Rancho Santa Margarita in November of 2010. Currently he is serving as an officer in the U.S. Army National Guard, and as a small business owner in Rancho Santa Margarita Jesse has played an active role in RSM's business community, working to build and sustain a healthy business environment in the RSM area.
In 2004, Jesse founded a non-profit grassroots organization which focused on educating Americans on homeland security issues. Jesse has earned the respect of leaders at the state and national level for his activism, and for his tireless volunteering for the conservative values of low taxes, limited government, and more personal liberties. He served with the California delegation to the 2008 Republican National Convention for Mitt Romney, and has now become entrenched in local issues, believing a fundamental return to the grassroots is what our city needs. Jesse has spearheaded the efforts to establish term limits for Rancho Santa Margarita's City Council, believing serving as a politician should not be a career, but should be only to give back to the community. He was married in Rancho Santa Margarita to his wife Vesna, and is dedicated to keeping his community safe and prosperous for his and other families for years to come.
